To ensure privacy, test security and an appropriate classroom climate, students are not allowed to bring cell phones, cameras or other personal communication devices into classrooms, locker rooms or washrooms. Any student who uses such devices without specific permission from a staff member will have the device confiscated, for a day, on the first offence. On the second offence, the device will be confiscated and returned to a parent when they pick it up from the school. On a third offence it will be expected that parents will ensure the phone does not come on school grounds again. Students found in possession of a cell phone or PCD during an exam will be given a mark of zero for part or for the entire test, or required to write a make up test, depending on the circumstances. Cell phones are only permitted in the foyer during "spares" and "breaks".
