We are always examining the best practice for student learning at W.A. Day.  Our teachers meet to constantly review their practice and make adjustments to enhance the learning of students.  Inorder to do this effectively, we plan on a three year cycle which for this cycle has identified the three goals of Literacy, Numeracy and Effective Behavior Supports. 

The planning cycle begins by examining the questions:  What have we done to make learning better?  Did it Work? and Where are we going next. These questions require us to examine data on student learning and current pedagogy to make informed decisions.  This process takes place from January to April each year with the plan distributed in May for all stakeholders.
