W.A. Day School 
 

W.A. Day School is located in the community of Fort Macleod, Alberta approximately an hour and a half due South of Calgary.  It is situated in the M.D. of Willow Creek. The Communty has a population of 3000 people and are surrounded by agricultural areas and two reserves.  The Piikani Nation is to the West of our school and the Kainai Nation is to the South of our school.

We have 162 students from Kindergarten to Grade 3. The school is very pleased to have a Parent Link Centre in our facility.  It provides preschool programming to families in our community.  This has been an excellent addition to our family at W.A. Day School.

The W. A. Day Elementary School in partnership with families and the community will provide a nurturing, positive learning environment. We will encourage each individual to become a responsible, caring, self-reliant and contributing citizen engaged in lifelong learning.

 Mandate

The W. A. Day Elementary School respects diversity and nurtures the whole child. We maintain a focus on language and mathematics learning.
