Classes will commence each school day at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 3:40 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. on Fridays.  Morning recess is from 10:00 to 10:15 and afternoon recess is 2:05 to 2:20. Lunch is from 11:45 to 12:45. Town students are asked not to arrive at school before 8:15 a.m.

 ATTENDANCE POLICY

Regular attendance is crucial in your child’s academic and social development. We request a note or call from a parent or guardian when your child is going to be absent. Livingstone Range School Division has set an acceptable attendance standard of 90%. Those who are absent over and above this level will meet with administration. We ask that all students sign out at the office when they leave the school premises during operational hours. Those students who go home at lunch need to inform the office once, at the beginning of the year. If your child is going to be absent you are to contact the school by 9:45 am. If we are not notified by that time the office will make a phone call home to the parents.
