Councils & Committees

Involvement in your child’s school has a very positive impact on their educational experience. At Livingstone School, we encourage and welcome parent involvement in a variety of ways. Certainly, at the primary and elementary levels, parents are often involved by way of classroom assistance, field trips, and special activity days.

This participation should not end when students move into junior or senior high school. Parents are encouraged to stay involved in their child’s education through grade 12 and many opportunities exist to do so. Chaperoning field trips, coaching sports teams, helping to prepare and serve Hot Lunches, assisting with planning and preparation of special celebrations and being a guest speaker in classes are some examples of ways to be involved.

An integral part of our school operation and success comes from parent involvement in School Council, Livingstone Parent’s Association and Sports Booster. These organizations provide feedback and support to school administration, organize and support special events and activities for students and provide opportunities for students to be involved in extra-curricular sports at a very affordable cost.

We encourage all parents to be involved - be sure to come out and join us!
