We respond to the learning and emotional needs of the students in our school. This is done with a team approach where all aspects of a student's school life are examined and then a plan is put in place to make learning fun for the student. Plans revolve around focussing on the student's strengths while developing a plan to address areas of concern. An Individual Program Plan (IPP) is developed by the homeroom teacher for the student. This plan is reviewed with the input from the parents/guardians and then implemented. The plan may be complex or simple but it is always based on the student's needs.
Our Learning Support Team consists of Mr. Feller (Assistant Principal), Ms. Sparkes (Family School Liaison Counsellor), Ms. Feller (Learning Support Teacher), Ms. PomPana (Family School Liaison Counsellor), and Ms. Crow Shoe (Native Liaison Worker).
