The Canyon School Booster Society is a
board open to all parents, community members and staff. The primary responsibility of this board is
to coordinate and manage fundraising activities that provide the extras wanted
by parents and staff for their schools, outside of core items. The funds raised by these activities are used
to benefit students, enhance the quality and relevance of education for
learners and contribute to the development of responsible citizens for our
students. The committee meets
approximately 8 times per year, and everyone is welcome to attend.
At the beginning of the 2011/2012
school year, the Canyon School Booster Society set out a goal to raise $5,000 to support the following
2011/2012 Canyon School Initiatives:
