Each child's education is important and valuable to us at Livingstone School.
We believe that the strength of our school is in our excellent staff and the long-term relationships we have the opportunity to build with students and their families. To be successful, students support of their parents in partnership with school staff.
Our hope is that the information on these pages will help keep you informed about our school and the many opportunities for you to be an active and integral part of your child's education.
I would encourage you to look for opportunities to be involved in our wonderful school. Some ways you can stay connected to your child at school as they move through ECS to grade 12 are:
- volunteering in the ECS classroom
- volunteering in your child’s classroom ( ask your child’s teacher)
- volunteering to be a reading buddy during School Wide Reading
- assisting with field trip supervision
- assisting with Hot Lunch Program
- assisting with the Science Fair, Fun Day, other special activity days
- attending School Council/ LPA meetings
- attending Sports Booster meetings
- assisting with the Book Fair
- watching extra-curricular games and cheering on our teams
- coaching school teams
- working at tournaments
- chaperoning grade 7 campout
- attending high school information meetings
- assisting with graduation planning
